Everytime I log into my back office dashboard for my wordpress website, I have to put up with a message that wordpress has displayed at the top of the page that is taking up half of the page, and the only way I can get rid of that message is to give wordpress more money.
WordPress wants me to renew the domain name that I purchased through them for my website, but I don’t want to renew that domain name because I already purchased another domain name for that same website! I purchased the new domain name because I no longer want to use the old domain name. Therefore it is perfectly logical for me to want the old domain name to expire. But it does not expire until December 21, 2009, so I guess I have to put up with this HUGE message at the top of the screen everytime I log into the back office of my wordpress blog, until the old domain name finally expires in 30 days.
I think this is very pushy and rude for wordpress to try to get me to spend money to renew a domain name that I don’t even want anymore, just so I don’t have to have the HUGE EXPIRATION MESSAGE staring me in the face every time I log into the back office of my blog. I have clicked on everything that I can think to click on, and there is absolutely no way for me to make the HUGE EXPIRATION MESSAGE go away by indicating to wordpress that I absolutely do not want to renew my old domain name.
you shouldn’t even need a reason why you don’t want to renew your domain. that is fu*ked up for wordpress to not have any way for you to hide the message that is taking up half of the screen. i thought wordpress was better than that. maybe they got bought out by that fu*ktard rupert murdock who doesnt give a crap about any websites he owns
So let me get this straight,
if you did not spend any money to wordpress you would not be seeing the huge annoying message,
but since you already gave them some money you have to put up with the huge annoying message trying get more money out of you?
I bet you won’t make that mistake again to give wordpress any more money! LOL
I DO NOT WANT TO RENEW THE WEBSITE THAT I PURCHASED THROUGH HTTP://WORDPRESS.COM
IT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY THAT THE USE OF MY DASHBOARD HAS BEEN CRIPPLED UNTIL I RENEW A DOMAIN THAT I DO NOT WANT TO RENEW.
IT MAKES ME VERY ANGRY THAT I AM HAVING TO CONTACT SUPPORT TO DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE.
I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER DOMAIN FROM WORDPRESS EVER AGAIN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND WORDPRESS TO ANYBODY AGAIN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
THE BULLIES AT WORDPRESS WILL NOT BE REWARDED FOR THEIR RUDE BEHAVIOR.
