Aren’t you glad the election is over?  I’m glad Obama won, even though I’m happy that I didn’t vote for him.  I think it is nice that we actually have a president who is really good at public speaking for a change.  The entire world loves Obama, so he should be able to accomplish a lot of positive things on the world scene.  But I’m nervous about what he is going to do here in the United States.  Both Republicans and Democrats think it is their job to tell us how to live our lives.  For example, Republicans think it is their job to tell us that we should only be able to get legally married if we conform to certain religious standards.  Democrats, on the other hand think it is their job to force us to be more environmentally friendly, as if we were not already trying to do that on our own.  But the Democrats think that they are smarter than us when it comes to deciding exactly how to be environmentally friendly.  For example, only influential politicians should be allowed to fly around in private jets, because if we just let any successful hard working person fly around in private jets all willy nilly, then that would “obviously” be too harmful for the environment.  I hate to think how Obama is going to try to force us “non-influential” folks to live our lives differently.
